				<strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong>
				<p>Intermediate media sales position.  Sell commercial time on local avails, local origination productions, and digital channels, as well as other new products as they are developed.  Partner with Production and Client Services to achieve/exceed business initiatives.</p>
				<br />
				<strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:</strong>
				<ul>
					<li>Responsible for supporting and maintaining company initiatives and metrics as related to department performance and client satisfaction.</li>
					<li>Develop, sell, and maintain advertising client base driving advertising revenue.</li>
					<li>Responsible for achieving budget and growth expectations as determined annually.</li>
					<li>Interpret and understand media research as qualitative data demonstrating client advertising expenditure.</li>
					<li>Partner with Promotions Team to develop and implement creative and effective campaigns and promotions in order to simulate additional revenue opportunities.</li>
					<li>Per client, identify client short-term and long-term needs and establishes and develops business partnerships.</li>
					<li>Build rapport and trust with contacts, identifying opportunities, and acting with integrity and professionalism, promoting a positive image within the local business community.</li>
					<li>Foster a positive company image.</li>
					<li>Comply with all established policies and procedures.</li>
					<li>Other functions and focus that may be assigned.</li>
				</ul>	
					<strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong>
					<ul>
						<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.</li>
						<li>Two to five years media sales experience preferred.</li>
						<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>
						<li>Proficient with computer software and technology.</li>
						<li>Good working knowledge of marketing research.</li>
						<li>Travel may be required.</li>
						<li>Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.</li>
						<li>Ability to relate well with the general public and employees at all levels.</li>
					</ul>

				<strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br />

					<li>Must partner internally with Media Sales Managers by providing support and direction.</li>
				    <li>Will develop and manage systems, goals and timelines and act as liaison between departments for the effectiveness of the promotions and marketing initiatives. </li>
					<li>Train sales teams and support staff on promotions practices and hold each individual accountable.</li>
					<li>Build strong relationships internally and externally to support the successful execution of promotional and marketing opportunities.</li>
					<li>Prepare various promotion and marketing resources including presentations, plans and collateral materials to assist sales staff in servicing their advertising clients.</li>
					<li>May partner and present promotional opportunities on client calls </li>
					<li>Monitor and track successes of programs and their value to the organization.</li>
					<li>Foster a positive company image.</li>
					<li>Comply with all established policies and procedures.</li>
					<li>Other functions and focus that may be assigned</li>	
				</ul>
				<strong>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong>
				<ul>
					<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel.</li>
					<li>Excellent communications skills; both in listening and speaking with the ability to write well, visualize and articulate clearly and succinctly.</li>
					<li>Excellent organizational skills organizational skills with the ability to create, plan and stay focused in a fast environment</li>
					<li>Local travel may be required.</li>
					<li>Strong sales and negotiation skills.</li>
